The handling of LIVE animals is tricky-more of an art. We pack almost every item the day it is order and KNOW that it is in good condition prior to it being shipped. We keep a quality control random sample behind, which gets evaluated at regular intervals as it approached its batch date. We add heat/ice packs as the weather dictates but cannot account for shipping delays or bad attitudes by delivery personnel etc. Basically stuff happens and since we stand behind our products let us know if you have concerns about a shipment or individual item you may have received. Below is a general return policy.

Once we have received your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your return after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days depending on your credit card issuer’s policies.

- These product have a smell; ocean or sea vegetable is normal and good
- Cool/Cold to room temperatures are fine
- Product settling is ok

Shipping Policy
Items ship within 7-10 days via FedEx or UPS postal services. You will be responsible for paying your own costs of shipping for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you received a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

The AlgaGen Zoo-Plasm™ line is the zooplankton live feeds we offer, conveniently packaged in our Easy Feed Packaging™. We offer the following:
Easy Feed Packaging™ PODS-This is a mixed assemblage of PODS, packed in numbers not seen in the industry. There are benthic thru pelagic varieties, which are great for the entire tank and feed corals through fish.
Easy Feed Packaging™ Rotifers-Rotifers have been a staple of the industry. They are great for leather corals and others, including filter feeders and some invertebrates.
Easy Feed Packaging™ Decap'D-This product contains artemia cysts that have been processed to remove the cyst's outer shell. What is left is the egg/cyst's inner part, which is both digestible and can hatch out into baby brine. Admittedly our hatch rate is very low, but the brine egg will feed corals such as Chili-corals, gorgonians, invertebrates, and others. There is no nutrient associated with it, and can be dumped directly into the tank as needed. Must be stored in the freezer.
Live Feeds are the most natural form of feeding possible. They provide a link between the food supply found in nature and what we can reasonably use on a daily level. Live feeds elicit natural feeding responses from your animals and contribute less to nutrient loading caused by overfeeding. Utilizing Live Feeds will bind up excess nutrients, including CO2, commonly found in a reef tank. Live Feeds will help establish a natural ecosystem that will make the tank healthier and stronger.
